Shoulder Pain
Physical Therapy

Treatment for rotator cuff pain, impingement, labral injuries, and shoulder surgery rehab in Coral Gables.

RX MOVEMENT · Coral Gables

Reach, lift, and swing
without guarding.

Shoulder pain can limit everything from reaching overhead and sleeping on your side to pressing, serving, and swinging a club. Most shoulder problems improve with a well-structured plan that restores motion first and then rebuilds strength through the whole range.

At RX MOVEMENT we combine hands-on treatment, dry needling when appropriate, and targeted strength work for the rotator cuff, shoulder blade, and upper back. Every plan is built around what you need your shoulder to do, whether that is lifting, tennis, golf, swimming, or carrying your kids.

After surgery, we follow your surgeon's protocol and guide you all the way back to full strength, then keep progressing with performance training if you want to go further.

Common Questions

Shoulder Pain Physical Therapy FAQs

Can physical therapy help a rotator cuff tear?+

Many rotator cuff problems, including some tears, improve with physical therapy. Whether surgery is needed depends on the type of tear, your symptoms, and your goals, so we coordinate with your physician when that decision comes up.

How long does shoulder physical therapy take?+

It depends on the problem. Many non-surgical shoulder issues improve over several weeks of consistent work, while post-surgical rehab often takes several months. We will give you an honest estimate after your evaluation.

Do I need a referral for shoulder physical therapy?+

No. Florida law allows you to see a physical therapist directly, without a physician referral, for the first 30 days of care.
